Job Title: Postal Clerk

This position involves working in a retail environment where you will be responsible for selling stamps, taking incoming mail and sorting it. You will also assist customers with their mailing needs such as completing changes of address or holding mail.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They should also have basic computer knowledge and be familiar with software applications used in the postal industry.

About Us

The P Clerk role has many different tasks that make up its core job functions: Sales Representative - We sell various postage products including First Class Mail envelopes, Post Office boxes rental services etc.; Processing Specialist ©- We process large volumes
of documents including letters packages parcels checks credit card transactions insurance claims so they can move through our network quickly efficiently accurately maintaining quality standards while maximizing productivity throughout operations daily business processes ensuring overall satisfaction both internally externally.

Main Responsibilities:Sell postal products like stamps post office box rentals first class mail service receive sort distribute most pieces received at station always follow proper procedures keep records accurate timely manner handle sales calls ensure satisfactory dealings engage public support efforts correct errors investigate suspicious behavior monitor area perform other duties assigned by supervisor aid coworkers when necessary train new employees provide suggestions improve workflow establish positive relationships external agencies report incidents inform required persons take charge situations critical require prompt attention prepare written reports review policies update information electronically troubleshoot minor technical issues.
