    Summary

    The Administrative Services Manager contributes to HarbisonWalker Internationals overall business performance by playing a key role in the administrative management of their plant through financial analysis and key performance indicators (KPI) development and reporting. This role manages the business reporting functions for production, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing (MRO and storeroom) and environmental, health and safety. In addition, the Administrative Services Manager fosters improvements in policies and procedures in their plant and ensures efficient operations of all areas of the office.

    The Administrative Services Manager plays a key role in maintaining positive employee relations, new hire activities and basic benefits administration for their plant.

    Job Duties
    • Establishing and administering audits as it relates to cost analysis and expense control, accounts receivable and payroll; collaborating with the plant manager to develop the annual operating plan and establish and sustain KPI analysis and reporting
    • Overseeing the procurement and planning process for storeroom and MRO inventory all EH&S requirements for the plant to include sustaining training programs; ensuring required sampling reporting and tracking programs are in place and compliant; ensuring all certifications are in place and updated
    • Establishing and sustaining programs and processes to maintain a positive and engaged employee environment; leading the recruitment, onboarding and retention activities; collaborating with their plants HR Business Partner on corporate initiatives and programs
    Qualifications
    • B.S. degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
    • Requires computer operation skills including, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle ERP system
    • Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and individual environment
    • Requires analytical skills and the ability to assemble data
    • Requires time management and organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail
    • Strong team player with the ability to teach others (coaching) and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Previous experience working in a cross functional environment managing diverse functional areas
    • Previous experience establishing and driving KPI metrics
    • The Administrative Services Manager requires five plus (5+) years of experience in an office/administrative management role with experience administrating health, safety and environmental programs for a manufacturing company.
