    Job Description:

    The R&D Co-op at Ethicon, Inc., based in Raritan, New Jersey, offers students a hands-on experience, mentorship, networking, and exposure to professionals from various schools nationwide. This role involves collaborating with a team of experts in developing groundbreaking solutions to address critical surgical needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interact with healthcare professionals to identify clinical needs
    • Conduct R&D supporting product design
    • Perform experiments for prototype development
    • Analyze data and prepare technical reports
    • Collaborate on protecting intellectual property
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain lab equipment

    Qualifications:

    • Enrolled in an accredited college/university
    • Pursuing a Master's or PhD in relevant fields
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Available to work full-time for 6 months
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Hands-on experience in chemistry/polymer preferred
    • Passion for innovation
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0

    Note: The base pay ranges from $21.00 to $45.00 based on various factors.
