    Overview Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a variety of Training Specialist IIIs to provide training creation, training implementation and instruction, and documentation supporting the execution of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP)
    Nakupuna Consulting is extending contingent offers for this effort in anticipation of contract award, which is expected in May of 2024
    The Training Specialis III should be familiar with the U.S
    Army's curriculum development process and requirements
    The Training Specialist III will draft training plans after conducting needs assessment analysis
    The Training Specialist III will then collaborate with the Training Manager and other specialists the creation of training programs, classes, and workshops to be utilized by IT professionals and other team members across the AMP program
    The Training Specialist III should be comfortable working in an Agile environment, resolving complex problems if and when they arise
    Collaboration with the various Agile Teams will be a common aspect of the position, and the Training Specialist III should be comfortable with data sharing and information sharing both across teams and with upper-level managers, such as the Training Manager, Configuration Manager, and Program Manager
    As a senior specialist, mentorship of junior staff-members will also be an element of this position, and the Training Specialist III should be willing to collaborate and coach team members across the AMP program

    • Responsible for the creation and delivery of training and development programs to all levels of end users and IT professionals.
    • Involved in training needs assessment processes.
    • Works closely with developers and project management to understand system and training needs.
    • Develops documentation for custom applications and packaged applications, using a variety of mediums as needed.
    • Assists in the design of instructor-led and asynchronous training programs, classes, workshops, and Computer Based Training (CBT) and on-line help
    Performs work under minimal supervision.


    • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
    • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
    • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
    • May act as a lead or first-level supervisor

    Qualifications Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred

    Skills/Qualifications:
    Certifications in Oracle Certified, SAFe for Teams, IT Cert MS-MCT, and CompTIA CTT+ preferred

    Clearance Requirements:
    This position requires a current Secret clearance
    Must be a U.S
    Citizen

    Work location will be in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia region

    Physical Requirements:
