We have a who's who of clients including McDonald's, Planet Fitness, Midas, Samsung, Chuck E. Cheese, and Methodist Health – each one with a unique brand personality that we help curate and demonstrate through every media channel available. Lately, we've been on a new business roll and would love to add the right person to our team.

    Job Summary
    The Brand Strategy Manager is responsible for impacting the quality of creative work in a direct and positive way by applying understanding of the customer. This person will lead research, development, and implementation of customer, category, cultural, and competitive insights for their clients. They will be responsible for conducting research, uncovering insights, mapping audience personas and customer journeys, developing content strategy, and establishing benchmarks/measurement plans. They will contribute to the creation and implementation of integrated strategies for traditional and digital channels and tactics that drive increased awareness, consideration, conversion, site/store traffic, leads, and retention.

    The Brand Strategy Manager is an excellent communicator and great collaborator who will work closely with internal and client teams to ensure creative outputs are on strategy and work is achieving business results.

    Responsibilities

    • Independently lead strategy on assigned accounts and new business endeavors
    • Represent the customer in all aspects of client-agency interaction from brief to execution
    • Conduct primary and secondary research to uncover customer, category, cultural, and competitive insights and demonstrated knowledge of how to leverage insights to achieve marketing objectives
    • Establish trusted partnerships with cross-functional teams to develop marketing strategy, briefs, and recommendations
    • Ability to analyze a wide range of information and translate client goals and objectives into actionable and measurable marketing recommendations
    • Develop briefs that clearly articulate business and brand challenges, while also inspiring the creative team
    • Present insights, briefs, and recommendations to internal teams and clients, while not being afraid to respectfully challenge client assumptions
    • Review creative and provide strategic feedback
    • Write clear and compelling POVs and other agency deliverables
    • Develop customer journeys and personas
    • Identify emerging culture, technology, customer, and content trends and opportunities

    Qualifications
    • 4 – 7 years industry related experience (customer strategy, brand planning, market research, or related field)
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
    • Demonstrated success developing client and cross-functional team relationships
    • Proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
    Preferences
    • Advertising agency experience
    • Experience with multi-unit businesses
    • Experience with Google Analytics, Mintel, IBISWorld, Gartner/Iconoculture, Resonate and other research tools
    • Business development experience
    • Branding experience
    • B2C and B2B experience
