    The Pricing Specialist will play a critical role in impacting profitability and growth.

    This position is responsible for developing and managing enterprise pricing structures, technology platforms, customer and competitor intelligence, and supporting documents for all product lines.

    The right candidate is a detailed, analytical team member with strong communication skills.

    The Pricing Specialist works across the organization working with key stakeholders to understand competitor pricing and product cost to ensure effective pricing systems are in place, up to date and understood by all.

    Essential Functions

    Identify pricing structures by product, channel, region, and customer to drive margin enhancements and improve sales
    Present pricing models and "what if" scenarios for business development opportunities and new products
    Prepare analysis on the impact of vendor increases/decreases to maximize margin
    Organize and analyze captured competitor data and make pricing recommendations
    Use current sales wins and losses to identify pricing opportunities
    Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, objectives, and barriers
    Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to relevant departments
    Chair the pricing committee and collaborate on pricing strategy and decisions
    Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing recommendations
    Understand business complexity and cost structure
    Understand our go to market strategy, customers, and channels
    Systematize all pricing and using pricing technology platforms
    Create and maintain customer facing pricing materials
    Job Qualifications

    Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
    3+ years progressive experience working in pricing and data analytics
    Strong knowledge of manufacturing and construction industry preferred
    Keen eye for identifying opportunities
    Strong analytical and research skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
    Effective reporting and presentation skills
    Enthusiastic and proactive team player
