    POSITION SUMMARY

    We seek a high-performing, innovative, and results-oriented IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help us transform our IT infrastructure operations from the old-fashioned reactive break-and-fix model to a strategic partner that creates real value and helps the business gain a competitive edge through technology-driven innovations.

    This role will support the design, implementation, and operations of the Company's information systems, including network, security, infrastructure, and other information systems.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provide day-to-day operational support for the IT infrastructure environment.
    • Lead IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, and coordination with other teams and stakeholders.
    • Troubleshoot, remediate, and perform root-cause analysis on systems ranging from servers, storage, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Servers, VMware, and other related technologies.
    • Perform incident response on threats and threat analysis on security alerts to determine the threat's validity and escalation if warranted.
    • Research new and existing technologies, recommend changes, and standardize configurations to provide a secure, reliable, and highly available computing environment and protect Company assets.
    • Identify opportunities to improve IT infrastructure performance, reliability, and security and lead initiatives to implement process improvements and technology enhancements.
    • Audit information systems and the established information security framework to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, controls, and policies.
    • Establish, maintain, and test effective disaster recovery plans to include incident response processes and procedures.
    • Respond to off-hour alerts, calls, e-mails, or notifications to ensure security, operational efficiency, and uptime.
    • Assist with other duties as determined.
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Non-Technical
    • Ability to consistently excel and deliver results that exceed expectations under minimal supervision

    • Unparalleled ability to venture into the unknown - research, self-education, and exploration of new technologies
    Technical
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience
    • Technical certifications such as CISSP, Microsoft 365, Azure Architect, CCNA, MCSE, and VCP
    • 5 years of experience in the field or a related area
    • Strong sense of cybersecurity principles and practices
    • Proven ability to configure and support Microsoft Windows servers, storage, Microsoft 365, and VMware infrastructure
    • Highly experienced in project management and delivery of IT infrastructure projects. PMP certification is highly desired
    • Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

    PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

    The engineer must be able to perform the job's essential functions with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.

    The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment if required to work or visit the job site. This may include a hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, personal flotation devices, or other equipment as required by the work performed and the location where the work is being done.

    The incumbent must possess the ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident and as directed by the Safety Representative or other management personnel. Must be capable of evacuating the work area promptly should an emergency arise.
