    DP World is growing-and we're looking for a Transportation Supervisor in Union City, GA who thrives in fast-paced logistics environments and enjoys keeping freight moving efficiently and on time. With high shipment volumes, multiple carriers, and daily coordination across operations and customers, this role offers the opportunity to lead transportation execution, drive performance, and make a direct impact on service reliability within a global logistics network.

    About the Role

    How you will contribute

    • Coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems.
    • Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
    • Assign approved service provider for transportation based on the approved carrier matrix, mode, service level, and cost efficiency to meet the customer's expectations.
    • Ensure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained.
    • Proactively works with operations to identify shipments at risk of not meeting secure dates based on mode, service level, miles, equipment type.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Your Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
    • Experience performing professional level operational and plant management duties; preferably in automotive or logistics industry.
    • Knowledge of principles and procedures used in material planning and logistics operations and practices.
    • Knowledge of various means of transport / transit times.
