Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Facilities and Site Services Chief Operating Officer group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Performance Assurance Manager Our team works a 9x80 schedule located in Idaho Falls with every other Friday off.
The Senior Manager integrates issues management Lessons learned management observations and self-assessment into the broader CAS ecosystem leveraging innovative approaches—including AI and advanced analytics—to enable proactive risk management and continuous improvement This role partners across the laboratory to ensure assurance activities are mission-aligned stakeholder-informed and operationally impactful Responsibilities Include Oversee budget planning execution for assurance programs manage a team of professionals ensure organizational impact through strategic initiatives Champion adoption of digital tools AI-driven analytics and performance dashboards to enhance decision-making transparency Establish maintain enterprise-level performance metrics dashboards monitor progress drive accountability Provide strategic vision leadership to performance assurance staff ensuring alignment organizational objectives continuous improvement initiatives Influence cross-functional teams drive organizational impact collaboration data-driven decision-making Lead development reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) organizational leadership integrating advanced analysis operational data identify trends efficiency opportunities Apply Human Performance Improvement (HPI) principles proactively reduce error-likely situations enhance organizational reliability Conduct oversee time motion efficiency assessments evaluate workflow effectiveness identify bottlenecks recommend process optimizations improve mission performance Develop forward-lookingefficiency outlookspredictive models inform leadership decisions resource planning Serve primary point contact governance bodies IOPAC REB CAS/DOE lead Management Review Meetings MRMs identify performance risks strategic improvement opportunities Mentor staff advanced performance analysis techniques including HPI methodologies efficiency assessment frameworks fostering culture operational excellence Ensure integration assessment findings corrective action systems maintain rigorous oversight closure processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives across boundaries leveraging data-driven insights enhance productivity mission success Minimum Requirements Bachelor degree business Technical related field plus years experience leadership experience Advanced Degree plus years experience leadership experience Demonstrated expertise Human Performance Improvement HPI principles application Strong analytical skills experience inperformance data interpretation risk identification Ability credibly advise senior leadership on matters impacting organization perforance Must capable working effectively across boundaries Ability acquire maintain Department Energy Q clearance requires U.S. Citizenship Preferred Knowledge Skills Experience Experience DOE/NNSA programs compliance requirements Experience Lead Assessor Critique Leader Cause Analyst PAAA/NTS Screener accordance Laboratory requirements Working knowledge perfomance Software tools e.g SharePoint DevonWay OpexShare Maintenance operations expereince background Ability conduct time motion studies effieciency assessments develop actionable impovement plans maintenance operations organizations Physical Requirements While performing duties this classification employee frequently required stand walk sit stoop kneel bend work office fieldlaboratory environment job requires handfinger dexterity keyboard type handle materials manipulate tools reach hands arms job requires operation equipment driving vehicle employee occasionally lift move pounds sufficient visual acuity hearing capacity perform essencial functions interact people reasonable accommodations made individuals disabilities participate job application interview process perform essencial functions receive benefits privileges employment Please contact request accommodation Other Information When applying positions please provide resume answer questions screens Applicants fail provide resume answer questions deemed ineligible consideration INL does not accept resumes third party vendors unsolicited.
