- Preparation of the treatment room - 30 minutes prior to first treatment
- Between appointments change linens
- Maintain cleanliness in your treatment room and a clean floor
- Greeting the guest, review the check-in form for any Enhancements, and preferences such as pressure, techniques, pain, or sensitivities
- Be physically capable of providing at least four 50-minute services per scheduled day
- Answer phones as needed
- Operate Spa Soft software. Acquire all billing and booking information for appointments
- Notify Spa Coordinator and Manager of any scheduling changes
- Monitor needs for supplies for timely reordering
- Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions, including Tamarack monthly Safety Meetings
- Assist with laundry
- Monitor the schedule daily for the addition of appointments. With online scheduling new appointments can be added 24 hours in advance
- Exhibit superb core values and standards of behavior, with guests and co-workers
- Current Idaho license. Dual licensed therapists are welcome
- Experience as a professional massage therapist working in a spa or medical environment
- Proficient knowledge of Swedish and deep tissue massage
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great interpersonal skills
- Dexterous and able to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to keep a well-groomed, professional appearance
- Ability to perform massages on diverse clients
- Maintain timesheet of hours on provided timeclock devices
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Some holidays and weekends will be required
- Commission from treatments is commensurate with experience.
- Commission on retail products sold.
- An hourly rate is paid while working a scheduled shift, training or company sanctioned activities.
