    Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Float Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU position in Woonsocket, RI, requiring at least 2 years of cardiac and telemetry experience with Epic proficiency.

    Details

    Float RN position covering Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units
    Cardiac patient population including post-cardiac catheterization and PCU-level care
    Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
    Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
    13-week contract
    Epic EMR experience required
    Requirements

    Active RI or Compact RN license required
    Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required
    Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required — must reflect prior use in a clinical setting, not obtained solely for compliance
    Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
    Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience required, including care of cardiac cath and PCU patients
    Epic EMR experience required
    DOB and SSN required for consideration
    Additional Information

    Responsible for float coverage across Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units
    Experience with cardiac catheterization patients and PCU-level cardiac care is expected
    Local candidates are accepted for this position
    Two professional references required for consideration

    American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
