- Provides technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Works with sales team in assessing potential application of OmniVision products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for development and implementation of customer applications and solutions
- Provides follow-up support to sales team and customer by disseminating technical information on specific applications
- Ensures product is functioning to specifications
- Works closely with teams focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products
- Participates in projects from initiation through delivery including planning and schedules
- BSEE or equivalent; MSEE preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills;
- Must be comfortable making technical presentations in front of all levels of customers
- Minimum five year experience working in applications engineering in semiconductor industry
- Minimum 5 year experience as a FAE
- Systems knowledge is a huge plus
- Practical knowledge of and interest in imaging business and handset architecture are a plus
