    Summary:


    As a lead member of the Salesforce delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality and excellence of the solutions delivered to the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

    You will develop and review development with the Salesforce delivery teams. Explaining complex technical solutions in a succinct manner will be a frequent responsibility. Effective external communication, presentation, and intrapersonal skills are required to maintain and grow Liberty's strong client relationships.


    The Technical Lead is an advisor and coach to the Salesforce development and delivery teams, guiding them on how to build proper data architecture, robust business logic, and eminently usable interfaces (both human and machine).

    You will be able to tactfully yet pragmatically articulate optimal development practices when faced with less-than desired inputs.

    You will be expected to continually maintain and refine your technical competency in the ever-changing domain of enterprise information technology.

    This position is 100% remote and open to candidates residing in the United States.

    Required Education:


    Master's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required, or 10 years of additional experience may be accepted in lueui of education.

    Required Years of Experience:

    10 years in an IT-related role


    Responsibilities:
    Partner with Architects and project teams on solution design & delivery
    Directs development teams on implementation of features and functionality Identify sequences, dependencies, and inventories of implementation tasks for the technical team
    Ensures adherence to ThunderYard's and client's Salesforce technical standards and practices
    Map functional requirements to Salesforce features and functionality
    Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery
    Develop advanced customizations utilizing Salesforce
    Manage project team members
    Participate in code reviews
    Guide, train, and mentor ThunderYard Salesforce team members
    Lead continuous improvement of ThunderYard Salesforce practice technical standards
    Contribute to the development of project scope and estimate artifacts
    Stay current on trends and evolving standards across the enterprise technology landscape

    Minimum Qualifications:

    10+ years of experience in at IT role supporting the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
    Minimum of 3 years of systems implementation experience
    Salesforce Platform Developer 2 and/or Javascript Developer 1 Certification
    Experience with end-to-end implementation in the following areas:

    Key architectural concepts such as code versus configuration and how those concepts influence design
    Platform experience, including API limitations and governor limits
    Data Migration, single sign-on, and web services
    Source control management and DevOps
    Integrating with 3rd party solutions, including AppExchange and external APIs

    Preferred Qualifications:

    2 or more Salesforce certifications
    Experience working for the US Department of Veterans Affairs or another government agency
    Has high standards, results oriented, and a commitment to delivering high quality software on time
