    Job Title: Travel MRI Technician
    Location: Morristown, NJ 
    Schedule: 40 hours/week (5x8s)

    Shift Schedule:

    • Monday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    • Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
    • Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
    • Thursday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
    • Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    Compensation:

    • Gross Weekly Pay: $2,801
    • Weekly Stipend: $1,561
    • W2 Hourly Rate: $31/hour (taxable)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Position patients appropriately on the MRI examination table and select/place the specified coil (e.g., head coil, knee coil) according to radiologist protocols
    • Explain MRI procedures and demonstrate use of two-way communication microphone system
    • Enter and verify patient history, anatomical area, scan orientation, and positioning data into MRI system
    • Program scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers as required
    • Monitor patient safety and comfort from control room and via closed-circuit TV
    • Review images to ensure quality and diagnostic accuracy
    • Capture and process diagnostic images as required
    • Ensure MRI safety standards are followed and alert staff regarding metal safety precautions
    • Perform additional duties as assigned

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • 1–3 years of recent experience as an MRI Technician
    • Experience with GE MRI systems required
    • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
    • Ability to read and interpret documents

    Education & Certifications:

    • Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program
    • NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) License
    • MR Certification
    • BLS Certification (AHA required)
