    Job Overview:

    The Program Director plays a vital role in overseeing the operational, managerial, and administrative aspects of the program. As the primary point of contact, this individual must remain flexible and be available to work outside regular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate and timely records, submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to national headquarters and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
    • Provide leadership and guidance to all program personnel, encompassing recruitment, hiring, training, and termination processes.
    • Ensure adherence to negotiated budgetary requirements and review financials regularly to guarantee compliance with operations/contract specifications.
    • Foster a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment for staff and clients.
    • Implement established training guidelines and curriculum for employee development.
    • Monitor and maintain organizational, licensing, and funding compliance across all program departments.

    Additional Expectations:

    • BUILD AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL STAKEHOLDERS
    • Demonstrate adaptability in response to changing circumstances and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • A combination of one of the following:
    • BA in social services or related field with 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
    • Masters degree in social services or related field with 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
    • Cleared Tuberculosis test results.
    • Cleared background check from appropriate entity.
    • Cleared drug test results (for Texas programs only).
    • Bilingual.
    • Flexibility and willingness to work irregular and long hours, including evenings and weekends.
    • Position requires on-call availability 24 hours/day.
    • Maintain annual training requirements/licensure/certifications.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.

    Physical Demands:

    • Obtain Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification and First Aid Certification (CPR).
    • Supervise clients indoors and outdoors as necessary.
    • Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs required to complete daily tasks.
    • Job requires extended periods of sitting; use of various office equipment.

    Work Environment:

    • This is a twenty-four hour residential facility providing multiple services to minors.
    • Three shifts per twenty-four hour period.
    • Work shifts are subject to change.
    • Noises levels vary from mild to moderate.
    • Predominantly indoors, occasional outdoor monitoring or activities.
    • This position is mostly sedentary, involving sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
