- You will provide technical expertise and assist the Deputy Safety Director in effectively administering the Depots Occupational Safety and Health Program.
- You will perform duties as Program Manager for multiple safety programs in a highly complex industrial aircraft repair environment.
- You will attend a variety of conferences, meetings, and design reviews and provide authoritative advice and recommendations relative to the implementation and application of safety engineering and safety requirements applicable to planned projects.
- You will evaluate a wide variety of hazardous operations related to mission.
- You will serve as member of the mishap board conducting investigation of ground accidents, preparing complete report of accident circumstances and formulate and establish procedures for the reporting of all accidents.
- You will coordinate long-term studies of unsafe or unusual work conditions with cognizant supervisor relative to abatement of conditions.
- You will participate in meetings with management to assess occupational safety and health hazards in order to eliminate or control unsafe working conditions related to an industrial environment.
