- Reviewing medical records for continuing quality improvement activities for the Occupational Health program to include the enrollment into the Biological or Chemical surety programs.
- Entering data into medical record systems.
- Performing quality improvement activities in support of institution-wide medical documentation concerns to include initiating health records for all newly enrolled personnel.
- Performing clinical pertinence review on randomly selected records against specified criteria.
- Performing qualitative analysis to ensure accuracy, internal consistency and correlation of recorded data.
- Establishing medical records as prescribed by governing regulations.
- Maintaining record accountability; assuring adequate controls are taken to prevent the loss of records or unauthorized access, following-up on lost record inventory, retirement and prompt filing of corresponding medical documents.
