- Perform clinical hygiene functions including, but not limited to: exposing/evaluating x-rays, oral cancer screening, prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, fluoride treatment
- Educates patients on the importance of preventive care, the disease process and the role of bacteria; provides appropriate educational literature and instruction on home care
- Maintain accurate, complete digital documentation
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and Infection Control Training
- Sterilizes dental instruments
- Other related duties as assigned
- Professional and friendly with great chair side manner
- Outstanding communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene
- Experience preferred
- Registered Dental Hygienist License
- Licenses required for this position must be kept current, valid, and in good standing with the presiding entity
