Description
Senior Fund Accountant ($115K/year + 10% bonus)The hiring company is a Boston-based real estate private equity sponsor.
They focus on multifamily assets in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S., with an emphasis on long-term, cash-flowing investment strategies.
Most real estate investors focus on risk profiles such as "core" or "value-add," but this client has the expertise and flexibility to transact and operate across designations to find attractive risk-adjusted returns.
They are an opportunistic and disciplined value-based investor.What To Expect
$115/k base pay
10% bonus

Primary Responsibilities
Review and assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual fair value financial statements prepared by third-party fund administrators.
An understanding of the organizational structure, and a proven ability to work across teams and vendors towards a shared objective.
Supervise the fund treasury and liquidity management process (capital calls, distributions, and coordination with the financing team).Maintaining work papers to support the Fund's performance.
Looking For Someone With
5+ years experience with fund accounting
Significant experience in Microsoft Office and Yardi (preferred)
Thorough understanding of financial statements and working in accounting software.
Private equity background is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
