    This is a role well suited to anambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a CustomerService Engineer 2, you will be responsible for:

  • You will beservicing Imaging Equipment in the Austin, TX area. Customer Service EngineerLevel can be adjusted based on prior experience.
  • You are in afield-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintainsand modifies Siemens' imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • You are the"Face of Siemens" to the customer.
  • You supportthe AX modality initially, with potential to cross train into other modalitiesin the future.
  • You areflexible and willing to work different shifts and On-Call rotations as businessneeds dictate, including willingness to work overtime as required.Advanced notice will be provided for anyshift changes.
  • You report tothe Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

  • You haveknowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, andmodifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimalsupervision.
  • You haveprevious experience with the desired Medical Imaging Equipment: AX
  • You have theability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationshipswith customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative dutiestimely and accurately.
  • You have astrong background working with electronics and are proficient in the use ofservice tools and service test equipment.
  • You haveproficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 -Outlook, Excel,SharePoint, etc.)
  • Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • MinimumTechnical Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strongelectronics background and computer skills required.
  • 2 - 5 yearsof field service experience is desired.
  • Ability towork both individually and in an established team setting.
  • You havestrong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability totravel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate inan on-call rotation after training and certification.
  • Validdriver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and gooddriving record required.
  • PhysicalRequirements: Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking,ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work,standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and abilityto work alone.
