The Department of Public Health and Health Sciences is seeking a Program Manager to join their team The Program Manager reports to the Chair of the Department of Public Health and Health Sciences and is responsible for managerial oversight of assigned academic programs working closely with the faculty directors of the assigned programs In addition the Program Manager will work with the Department Chair and Associate Chair for Research/Chair of the Departments Research Committee to facilitate committee tasks These may include administering the Departments small grants program and a mechanism for providing advice on grants and grantsmanship to early career colleagues This individual will be responsible for managerial administrative aspects of their assigned academic programs in five main areas Administration Support Students Faculty Management Changes Additions Curriculum Experiential Teaching Learning Objectives Stakeholder Support Design Implementation Recruitment Strategies Academic Programs Working Northeastern departments including global PhD networks In each area elements designing implementing program evaluation accomplished obtaining maintaining accreditation tasks by CEPH carried out assigned academic programs course-related policies procedures improved coordination Registrar Office students needs addressed registration funding degree audits peer mentor matches collecting annual progress reports referrals NU services visas housing mental health more The Program Manager also advocate program teaching needs Develop maintain relationships students faculty alumni staff relevant offices Graduate Student Services Bouve College Health Sciences Registrars Office Global Services Disability Resource Center Summary Program perform professional level work performing daily activities developing plans achieve programmatically goals implement solutions track budget professional level work in areas responsibility serve department lead enhancing communications stakeholders assuring strong department social media presence collaboration communications staff college level
