    Job Summary

    The Customer Service Representative role at Mate Precision Technologies involves processing, quoting, and answering customer inquiries for new and existing orders. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure 100% customer satisfaction on all processed orders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Acknowledge and respond to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Enter orders accurately into the Direct Order Entry (DOE) program, meeting established performance expectations.
    • Manage incoming calls during work shifts while maintaining professionalism via email and phone interactions.
    • Ensure customer profiles are up-to-date before entering quotes and orders.
    • Familiarize yourself with new product training, system improvements, and departmental procedures.
    • Demonstrate a positive attitude and respect towards customers and peers.
    • Provide accurate quotes and product pricing to customers efficiently.
    • Follow departmental policies and procedures outlined in the Online Resource / Customer Service Department Guidelines.
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, display open-mindedness, and be responsive to their needs.
    • Maintain integrity by being dependable, exercising good judgment, honesty, and taking responsibility for actions.
    • Exhibit respectful behavior, encourage idea-sharing, actively listen to others, and demonstrate common courtesy.

    Requirements

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
    • A minimum of 6-12 months of Customer Service experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
    • Strong professional writing skills and proficiency in typing are essential.
    • Efficient computer skills and experience with software applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Contact Management, Calendar scheduling, and ERP software, are necessary.
    • The ability to calculate numerical figures and apply basic geometry is also required.
    • Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing, is mandatory.
    • Bilingual capabilities, specifically in Spanish or French, are a plus.

    Work Environment and Compensation

    • This is a full-time position requiring prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Lifting up to 15 pounds may be necessary at times.
    • The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.
    • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
