- Support overall planning and scheduling of multiple technical projects using Microsoft Project and other similar programs.
- Maintain the integrated master schedule, track resources, and ensure all milestones and deliverables remain on track.
- Maintain communications between managers, lead engineers, and working engineers to ensure schedules and actions are updated and on track.
- Attend meetings, track actions, and coordinate efforts between multiple projects and programs
- Active Secret DoD clearance
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Five (5) years of experience providing project coordination support
- Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Project
- Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to all levels of the customer organization Preferred Education and Experience: • Experience specifically with undersea warfare systems and/or Navy training range systems
- Specific experience with NUWC Division Newport Competencies: • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate both written and orally to all levels of the customer and company leadership.
- Capable of effectively working and problem-solving in both independent and team environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Description
Project Coordinator Summary/Objective KMS Solutions is seeking a highly motivated individual to join a team of engineers and technicians providing engineering and technical support to the Ranges, Engineering, and Analysis Department at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RIThis multi-disciplinary team is responsible for providing systems safety, environmental qualification testing, and range sustainment in support of undersea warfare systems
Candidates with education and experience in engineering fields are highly desired

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Up to 10% travel may be required
