- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with the overall business objectives and market dynamics.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, including supplier assessments, competitor benchmarking, and pricing trends, to identify opportunities and risks within the category.
- Drive cost savings initiatives through effective negotiation, supplier relationship management, and contract optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment and integration of category strategies.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, quality, and delivery metrics to maintain high standards and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead supplier selection and qualification processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards for quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing.
- Proactively identify and address supply chain disruptions, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to implement contingency plans and minimize impacts on production schedules.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing; Industrial or Machinery experience preferred.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in Procurement/Category Management.
- Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree.
- Must have experience selecting and managing a supplier base.
