The
Associate Director of Human Resources (CB2)
leverages deep HR expertise to effectively consult on a broad range of priorities, including workforce strategy, organization effectiveness and associate experience and safety.
This individual will collaborate with HR and business leaders to deliver talent strategies that attract, reward, develop and retain our greatest asset - our people.
They will assume a leadership role in developing a positive company culture that drives engagement and business results. We are looking for a true generalist - both strategic and transactional. Associate Director, Human Resources (CB2)...
Lead Talent initiatives, including the development/ maintenance of processes around performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, and recognition
Collaborate with HR Leadership to develop and lead HR related processes and metrics that address associate needs
Lead comprehensive Change Management strategies/ initiatives
Conduct and oversee associate relations investigations, including interviews, documentation and follow up, leading to appropriate outcomes
Champion and role model a culture of inclusion, fostering a safe space for differences

Demonstrated ability to build relationships, coach, facilitate, inspire, influence, and motivate while gaining buy-in and driving results
Ability to be a change agent and influence teams to shift quickly as our business evolves
Ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects/priorities, while delivering results
Passion for developing Talent at all levels
Knowledge of relevant human resources-related laws and regulations and the ability to conduct or assist with investigations, maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
Exceptional communication/ interpersonal skills, including strong presentation and facilitation skills

Ability to work 4 days/week at the CB2 Corporate Office (1315 N Branch St, Chicago) and travel to CB2 stores as needed
8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree and/or professional certifications preferred
Multi-unit/site experience in retail is strongly preferred
HRIS experience; Workday experience is a plus
Progressive Human Resources management experience and passion for a customer service driven business
