    Castle is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will own day-to-day operations for ongoing projects as well as provide backend support for the Lead Interior Designer and Architect.

    Key Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Assist in developing furniture plans, renderings, technical drawings and elevations, and tile layouts.
    • Aid with the research, design, selection, specification, and documentation of furniture, fixtures, lighting, finishes, millwork, etc.
    • Schedule, prepare for, and attend design meetings with the Lead Interior Designer.
    • Assist with material and furniture selection, sourcing materials and visiting showrooms to acquire samples for client meetings.
    • Organize and maintain sample libraries.
    • Keep up to date with new developments and trends in the design industry.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years of experience in Interior Design; previous experience in residential design is preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
    • Proficiency in design software such as Revit and SketchUp.
    • Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently once given direction.
