About the CompanyAn established, global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a high-volume, multi-shift operation.
This is a confidential search intended for HR professionals who are not actively looking, but may be open to a well-scoped, stable role with real influence at the plant level.
About the RoleIf you enjoy being a trusted HR partner on the floor—balancing employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations—this role offers visibility, autonomy, and long-term growth.
ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Compliance
Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and leaders
Lead employee investigations and corrective actions
Administer leave programs (FMLA, ADA, state/local requirements)
Support unemployment claims and hearings
Safety & Risk Support
Support safety compliance and investigations
Assist with workers' compensation and return-to-work processes
Talent & Workforce Support
Manage hourly recruiting and onboarding
Oversee temporary labor relationships
Support internship and student programs
HR Operations
Support payroll and timekeeping review
Maintain HRIS transactions and employee records
Participate in HR projects and cross-plant support
Qualifications
3–5+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience in manufacturing
Strong working knowledge of employment and labor laws
Experience supporting hourly populations and multiple shifts
Comfort handling sensitive employee relations matters
HRIS and ATS experience
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
