    • Evansville, INWe are looking for a Medical Records Clerk to join our ProgressiveHealth team This person will be responsible for record management, data entry, file retrieval, quality assurance, and customer service.
    Our Medical Records Clerk will support the Compliance Department, and partner with corporate and remote managers, along with client partners and vendors, to support them through any compliance-related needs.

    This position requires confidentiality, prioritizing, and organization and reports to the Compliance Officer and Internal Corporate Counsel in Evansville, IN.

    This is a full-time, in-office opportunity.

    Organize and maintain both physical and electronic medical records in according with established procedures and HIPAA regulationsRecognizing and adhering to privacy regulations, particularly those outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to facilitate the smooth flow of medical record requests and updatesAssist patients and authorized personnel with inquiries related to medical records, providing excellent service and maintaining professionalismAssist with various research projects and/or special projectsThis does not necessarily list all responsibilities, duties, requirements, or efforts associated with the job.

    Our ideal candidate will have:
