    Your opportunity


    Proactively develop and cultivate strong relationships with media outlets across financial media including top-tier publications, broadcast outlets, and trade press.

    Draft and publish a range of external and internal communications including press releases, social media posts and internal announcements.
    Serve as a media spokesperson for the firm in North America.

    Position Janus Henderson and its investment team as a thought leader in the media and strategically place the firm's content in the press.

    Arrange and facilitate media interviews with the firm's portfolio managers, analysts and senior executives.
    Assist in the measurement and tracking of media results and coverage.
    Support change-management communications related to personnel and product changes.
    Help coordinate industry awards for the Corporate Communications team in North America.

    Collaborate closely with the North America and global communications teams as well as key functional partners including Marketing, Investor Relations, HR and Compliance.

    Assist with the management of PR agencies and newswires distribution.

    Minimum of 7 years of financial communications experience, ideally within asset management or investment banking.
    Strong and established relationships with financial services and asset management publications.
    Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build a strong network both with internal stakeholders and the media.
    Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
    Superb attention to detail.
    Experience developing and executing successful media campaigns.
    Experience managing or working with public relations agencies.
    Knowledge and experience working with social media.
    Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will be posted through May 31, 2024.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity:
    Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
