Description
Under the limited supervision of an Administrative Analyst 4 or other supervisor in a state department, institution, or agency, assists in the review, analysis, and appraisal of current department administrative procedures, organization, and performance, and helps to prepare recommendations for changes and/or revisions; does related duties.
Specific to the Position
This position will be responsible for the technical, managerial, and financial reviews of existing public water systems primarily focusing on those public water systems with a history of non-compliance through the Capacity Development Program. TMF capacity is necessary to ensure water systems are maintaining compliance with federal and State regulations, including the Lead and Copper Rule. This position will work with the federal Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program to assist certain types of water systems (publicly and privately owned community water systems and nonprofit noncommunity water systems) finance the cost of the infrastructure needed to achieve or maintain compliance and protect public health.
Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education. Thirty (30) semester hour credits are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience.
Five (5) years of professional experience in a business or government agency providing administrative support services and/or coordinating work activities.
OR
Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and one (1) year of the above-mentioned professional experience.
NOTE: "Professional experience" refers to work that is creative, analytical, evaluative, and interpretive; requires a range and depth of specialized knowledge of the profession's principles, concepts, theories, and practices; and is performed with the authority to act according to one's own judgment and make accurate and informed decisions.

License
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Residency
