Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our Midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program, and a Level III NICU.
Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.Responsibilities
Charge Nurse assumes the responsibility for the human and fiscal resources available in order to provide quality, cost-effective patient centered care.
The Charge Nurse will possess and have the capabilities to perform all the major duties and critical tasks of a Registered Nurse.
The Charge Nurse will demonstrate honesty, integrity, respectfulness, discretion, responsibility and dependability.Supports the mission and vision of the facility.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
Must possess and maintain a current RN license to practice in Texas
At least one (1) year RN experience in a clinic environment
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
EMR experience
Preferred
Job Requirements:
Five (5) years RN experience
At least two (2) years RN experience as a charge nurse or supervisor
Specialty certification, such as Ambulatory Care Nurse, preferred at hire and preferred within 12 months of eligibility
Bilingual
