Substitute Teacher Position

This position offers a starting pay of $15.00+ per hour, depending on your experience and education level.

With a clear mission to enhance the social and cognitive development of children aged 0 to 5 years, our organization provides evidence-based education, health, nutrition, and family engagement services to enrolled children and their families.

What You'll Do:

Play a vital role in providing educational, social, and emotional development for all students following program standards.
Assume responsibilities at all Educare of Omaha locations.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, part-time, and on-call schedules are available, allowing you to choose your preferred hours.

Preferred Monday - Friday schedule
Flexible part-time options
Early morning on-call availability
Ability to cover long/short term assignments

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to policies, rules, and procedures for effective classroom management.
Maintain a safe environment for children, materials, and equipment.
Establish positive relationships with parents, students, and school staff through effective communication.
Follow both written and oral instructions diligently.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required
Preferably, an associate or bachelor's degree in education (Early Childhood focus)
Minimum one year of experience in a licensed childcare program
Minimum age of 18 with a clean background check
