    Description

    THE JOB OF HSE SPECIALIST INVOLVES

    Train and educate:
    Educate employees on industrial safety standards, protocols, procedures, and best practices. Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and informational materials to ensure employees are well-informed and knowledgeable about safety practices.

    Assess risks and hazards:
    Assess potential risks and hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify potential dangers, and implement controls to minimize or eliminate risks.

    Investigate and analyze:

    Investigate the cause of accidents, incidents, or near-misses and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

    Analyze data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to enhance safety.

    Other duties as assigned.


    THIS ONE'S FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE

    Strong knowledge of HSE regulations:

    Possess a comprehensive understanding of local, regional, and national health, safety, and environmental regulations, stay up to date with the latest standards, and ensure compliance within our organization.


    Industry Knowledge:
    Must have a general understanding of applicable industrial standards.

    Interpersonal skills:
    Ability to work independently and collaborate and work well with coworkers and internal and external teams.

    Physical stamina:
    This role may involve physically demanding tasks such as site inspections and responding to emergencies.

    The ability to work in various environments: Indoors and outdoors in all-weather types.
