Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Dispensary General Manager and lead the operations of a thriving retail dispensary. This energetic role is perfect for a motivated leader passionate about customer service, team development, and retail management within the cannabis industry. As the driving force behind daily store functions, you will ensure an exceptional shopping experience while maintaining compliance, inventory control, and sales growth. Duties
- Responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the dispensary in accordance with tribal regulations, as well as the standards set by the company.
- Provide support to all staff, which includes scheduling, training, providing policy and procedure updates and product information.
- Ensuring all shifts are covered, as well as being prepared for new hires when required.
- Responsible for closing out sales for each shift, making cash drops at the end of each shift andupdating sales data on a set basis.
- Maintaining sales to reflect daily specials and scheduled promotions.
- Responsible for menu board updating as product and price changes occur.
- Maintaining employee hours and compensation distribution.
- Responsible for the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) System is operating correctly.
- Ensuring that all cannabis waste is accounted for and stored for safe disposal.
- Ensuring employee performance and tasks are completed daily and maintain employee records.
- Complete social media posts on a weekly basis and ensure sales associates complete therequired snapchat post during assigned shifts.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory levels on a weekly basis, new product POS entry and product placement forsale.
- Maintaining accuracy of product pricing and ensuring that display cases are appealing.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility.
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail environments, preferably with supervisory or assistant manager roles in stores or similar sectors.
- Strong background in retail math, sales management, budgeting, and cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, merchandising, marketing strategies, and retail math is essential.
- Prior supervisory experience with responsibilities including supervising staff, managing schedules, and overseeing store operations is required.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate teams to achieve sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service.
