Job Summary
The Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for the planning, supervision and implementation of a developmentally appropriate early childhood program,- Plans individual and group activities to stimulate optimal growth in all domains for the assigned students (each teacher is the primary caregiver to four students). Plans must be aligned with Head Start Performance Standards, the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework, the State of Michigan Early Learning Standards and the Creative Curriculum.
- Develops and uses instructional materials aligned with Creative Curriculum and suitable for infants and toddlers.
