    Systems Engineer

    The Opportunity:

    As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape missile defense training by supporting STRATCOM. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions.     You Have:

  • Experience in LINUX operating systems, including RedHat or CentOs
  • Experience with developing and implementing system configuration scripts in Python, Perl, Java, ksh, csh, Bourne, or Bash
  • Experience with VMware, including ESX and Horizon
  • Experience with Windows
  • Experience with applying Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrading administrative tools and utilities
  • Knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or 12+ years of experience in systems engineering in lieu of a degree
  • DoD 8570 compliance IAT Category, Level II Certification

    • Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in data storage and backup solutions, including NetApp storage
  • Experience in a full lifecycle environment supporting hardware and software tuning, performance monitoring, advanced troubleshooting

    • Clearance:

    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
