    Position Summary:


    The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Susquehanna University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of French beginning in August 2024.

    Candidates must have native or near-native fluency in French and a record of excellent teaching.

    Candidates must demonstrate an ability to teach French language at all levels as well as a range of courses in Francophone culture and literature studies.

    The teaching load is 3/3. Support for conference attendance and scholarship is available.
    An earned doctorate in French or Francophone studies (or related field) is required by date of appointment. We expect a strong commitment to teaching in a liberal arts environment.
