The Department of General Services, The Division of Building Design and Construction (DBDC) is responsible for planning, designing, and constructing Montgomery County's public buildings to high performance standards while considering citizens' input, environmental, and economic concerns.
About The Position:
As a Construction Representative III, you will be in charge of overseeing the progress of building and site construction for various County Government Capital Improvement Program projects. Your role involves ensuring contractors adhere to construction requirements, standards, and quality, guaranteeing effective, timely, and safe construction for new buildings and major renovations.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in construction or inspection of commercial buildings, including electrical and mechanical systems.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent recognized in the State of Maryland.
