Responsible for ensuring effective communication with the circulating nurse, patient and any other staff associated with care of the patient.

Anticipate the need of the surgeon; provide assistance while maintaining aseptic, safe surgical environment. Flexibility to function in other areas of the Surgery Center as needed.

Responsible for assisting in the care of patients under the direction of professional staff including, but not limited to, patient observation and discharge, review of discharge instructions, and patient transportation.

Starting salary is $20 per hour but could be higher based on experience.
Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited School of Surgical Technology is preferred or equivalent operating room experience. Certified Surgical Technician certification preferred.

Minimum Background Requirements:

• Experience of two years or greater in a surgery setting is preferred.
• Experience with basic office procedures and computer skills are preferred.
• Knowledge and use of aseptic and sterile technique.
