    Responsibilities:

    The Repair Coordinator – Gulf of Mexico will report to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for maintaining the repair history databases and handling all domestic and foreign repairs coming into the Gulf of Mexico.

    Candidates must be local to the New Iberia, LA warehouse location, or surrounding areas (ideally within 50 miles).

    Primary Responsibilities:
    The Repair Coordinator – Gulf of Mexico may:


    • Monitor and track equipment repairs, expediting as needed.

    • Generate equipment status reports and maintain comprehensive repair history databases.

    • Conduct regular visual inspections on mechanical and electrical equipment.

    • Collaborate closely with maintenance teams to coordinate and oversee scheduled and unscheduled repairs.

    • Purchase required parts and fleet spares, selecting appropriate repair shops.

    • Assisting the Operational Support department in producing detailed repair specifications.

    • Provide repair cost information to management for budget or AFE development.

    • Coordinate equipment repairs with rig personnel and repair shops to meet defined requirements.

    • Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality parts and components from approved suppliers.

    • Participate fully in all Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives and safety programs.

    • Prioritize service quality as an immediate concern and continually seek areas for improvement.

    • Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders, both internal and external.

    • Conduct on-site visits to repair shops as required.

    • On-call availability on select weekends is required.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:


    • High School graduate diploma or equivalent.

    • 10 or more years of offshore drilling industry experience.

    • 7 or more years of direct experience in an electro/mechanical working environment.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

    • Proven ability to work independently and results-driven.

    • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving.

    • Ability to lead and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

    Preferred Qualifications:


    • 2-year technical degree or other related discipline.

    • Familiarity with Offshore Drilling Equipment.

    • Experience in a QA/QC role with an oil field service company or related industry.

    • Experience with supply chain & maintenance systems (Oracle and Maximo).
