The Patient Care Supervisor is accountable and responsible during a scheduled shift for managing and guiding the activities of the hospital including, but not limited to, the staff, environment, and patients. Must be able to clinically participate in all components of the nursing process.Peformance Expectations:
Work Experience: Two to five years general nursing experience with demonstrated leadership required.
Certification/Licensure: Current registered nurse license to practice in the State of Mississippi required. BLS certification and NIHSS certification required by the end of the orientation period. BLS to be renewed every 2 years and NIHSS certification to be renewed annually. EKG interpretation class and ACLS required within 6 months of employement. All certifications are to be maintained.
