    Responsibilities :

    Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems. Provide engineering consulting services to key customers in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) domain. Work directly with customers to offer engineering consulting services including process and workflow review/development, implementation and deployment strategy, software training and guidance and industry expertise. Direct engineering activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations. Manage and direct the construction, operations, or maintenance activities. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards. Compute load and grade requirements, flow rates, or material stress factors to determine design specifications. Design construction systems or structures, using computer-assisted design tools. Demonstrate excellence in strategic thinking, engagement planning, business process optimization, and communications. Leverage construction industry experience to establish or improve customer processes utilizing Autodesk Construction Cloud. Help prepare, review, and proactively manage and plan for deliverable execution on behalf of the customer. Manage processes, priorities and ownership for deliverable work streams. Attend Customer facing meetings to help facilitate workshops, lead strategy discussions, or present findings and recommendations. Develop and execute on plans for workflow assessment, configuration, and deployment of Autodesk Construction Cloud. Utilize BIM principles and methodologies to develop and manage digital models of civil engineering projects. This involves creating and maintaining 3D models, coordinating design information, and integrating data from various disciplines to improve project coordination and communication. Collect, organize, and analyze data related to civil engineering projects. Utilize data visualization, analytics, and simulation tools to derive insights, identify trends, and support decision-making processes. Develop sustainability solutions based on Autodesk technology and aligned with Autodesk's strategic impact priorities, collaborating where needed with other Consultants and Autodesk stakeholders. Ensure effective team dynamics and communication. Escalate items as needed in an organized and timely way. Prepare, review and manage high-quality consulting outputs, including project schedules, summaries, procedure guides, process diagrams, flow charts, and best practices guides. Advice on construction processes of proposed solutions and delivery methodology. Proficient in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, GIS, MATLAB, Python, and data analytics platforms. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

    Minimum Requirements :

    Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

    Special Requirements :

    Position requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:

    • Employ advanced business process analysis techniques specifically tailored to civil and environmental engineering workflows. Skillfully assess existing processes, identify potential gaps, and offer well-informed advice on improvements and optimizations.
    • Collect, organize, and clean large and diverse datasets related to civil engineering projects, water industry, waste-wastewater industry including survey data, geospatial data, compliance data, environmental data, and construction records.
    • Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract meaningful information and identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
    • Apply the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach to drive process improvement. Define project goals, measure process performance, analyze data, implement solutions, and establish control measures to sustain improvements.
    • Perform comprehensive climate change risk and vulnerability analysis to assess potential threats and challenges posed by climate change on infrastructure and related projects. (Impacts such as extreme weather events, rising sea levels and temperature changes).
    • Possess a practical understanding of GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Emissions protocol and reporting, enabling support to organizations in achieving their net-zero emission targets.
    • Possessing a comprehensive grasp of BIM, AEC workflows and standard processes among architects, engineers, and contractors. Capable of specifying and identifying the appropriate technology needed to execute project deliverables and ensuring that these technologies meet the necessary requirements for acceptance
    • Apply expertise in civil engineering program / project management concepts to effectively document new product feature requests and enhancements.
    • Experience in proficiently facilitating and adeptly leading business strategy workshops within the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Demonstrated expertise in guiding diverse stakeholders, including senior management, project leaders, and department heads, through a comprehensive and collaborative process of strategic vision development.
    • Demonstrate the ability to create and implement change management plans, conduct change impact assessments, perform ADKAR assessments and develop strategies to address resistance to change within the AEC context.

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $209,131 - $245,500/year. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
