- Maintain electrical components, panels, and circuitry for a major public works flood control structure, associated office buildings and public use areas.
- Diagnosis problems of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and plumbing equipment/systems.
- Conduct inspection of flood control operating facilities.
- Inspect recreational facilities under Corps operational control.
- Repair of major control tower operating components.
- Perform maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems associated with assigned facilities equipment.

About the Position: Serves as Senior Maintenance Mechanic with responsibility for overseeing the work of subordinate full-time workers. Responsibilities include the planning, assigning, leading by active participation, and reviewing a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks at lake projects involving operation and maintenance of flood control structures, recreational sites, or other facilities.
