Title:
Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Outpatient – Physical Therapy/Orthopedics

Location: Catonsville, MD

Schedule: Full time, Mon-Fri (No Weekends) at least 2 evenings required. Open to (5) 8hr shifts or (4) 10hr shifts

The Physical Therapist Assistant assists the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures within an outpatient setting.

Duties to include:

Administers physical therapy treatments (including home instruction) within scope of physical therapy practice appropriately and monitors patient responses to such treatments.
Completed required documentation per compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Notifies evaluating Physical Therapist of any matters pertaining to the care of the patient as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Assistant educational program
Willing to train new grads although at least one year of experience is preferred
Must possess a current Maryland State Board Physical Therapist Assistant license.
