Kioni are supporting a B2B FinTech headquartered in the financial district of New York as they look to expand their engineering team following a period of sustained growth.
Widely regarded throughout the financial services industry, they have built a market leading product offering.We're directly supporting their Head of Engineering in scaling their Backend team who design and develop scalable APIs.
What you'll do
Reporting directly to their Head of Engineering you will join a small but very capable team, where you will contribute to their product decisions, solve complex problems, and develop a high performance platform for their customers.
Your impactYou will contribute to developing scalable solutions for customers
Design, develop, and implement new product features
You will work on system changes, review code, build tests, and coordinate deployments
Work with the technology & product leadership, as well as colleagues in the wider engineering & product team to deliver the company mission
Champion software development best practices
Oversee the delivery of multiple projects
Required Technical Experience
Backend Development experience with Python
Experience designing APIs using Django/ Flask/ FastAPI framework
Knowledge of relational databases - PostgreSQL/ MongoDB/ MySQL
Experience experience with AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud Platform
