- Foster Youth Therapeutic Residence is seeking a Master Level, Counselor
- Provide evaluative, diagnostic, and psychotherapeutic services to adolescents.
- Provide evaluative, diagnostic, and psychotherapeutic services to adolescents.
- Conduct individual and group therapeutic interventions to clients including but not limited to child welfare assessments, crisis prevention/intervention, behavioral management plans, and collaborative consultation with child's service team.
- Predominantly office based with possible community/school based service delivery.
- Participate in or coordinate special projects as directed by the Program Manager.
- Develop and implement plans for personal continuing education and enhancement of clinical skills. Evaluate staff documentation and client progress notes to ensure the consistency of the treatment plan.

- Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent with clinical work experience, desirable; Bachelor's Degree with clinical experience and Master's Degree in process acceptable. Licensure eligibility desirable.
- Ability to respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the agency's service population.
- Experience counseling children and/or adolescents, required.
- Previous job or student placement experience in child welfare, family serving agency, or community based agency.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must have valid driver's license, which meets the requirements of the agency's insurance carrier and reliable transportation.
