    Description

    Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Machinist

    Location: Marysville, OH

    Pay Range: $27-30hr

    Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st shift

    What's the Job?

    • Plan machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to ensure precise production.
    • Manage stock inventory by checking stock levels, placing orders, and verifying receipt of materials.
    • Program and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes, including setting tools, offsets, and calculating requirements.
    • Set up machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, and attachments, ensuring accurate positioning.
    • Verify settings through measurements, first-run parts, and sample workpieces to maintain quality standards.

    What's Needed?

    • Proficiency with CAD software, including CATIA, and familiarity with CAM software and G-code is preferred.
    • Experience with manual and CNC machine operation, including mills and lathes.
    • Strong understanding of GD&T and measurement equipment.
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects effectively.
