    Full-Time RN - Registered Nurse

    Prestige Care - Float Pool

    Vancouver, WA

    Pay Rate: Hourly Pay Rate Maximum: 55 Pay Rate Minimum: 48

    This position is for on call hours.

    RN Wage: per hour. Differential offered for dual licensure in OR and WA which requires you to actively work in both states.Mileage available for any travel over 30 miles round trip upon approval per assignment.

    What does the RegisteredNurse (RN) – Travel Nurse do?

    Simply put, this is the jump off point to a long and fruitfulnursing career in the senior care space. You will be assisting with thedelivery of nursing services to our residents, including oversight anddirection for other healthcare providers including LPNs, CNAs, and othercaregivers. With our internal float pool, you will be traveling around to ourdifferent communities and care centers, getting to interact with many differenttypes of residents and various geographic areas. This RN Registered Nurse roleis a dynamic one, where every day is different, and will allow you to hone andcraft your nursing skills to make you a better caregiver. You will be receivinga ton of training and development by our clinical leadership teams so you canoffer the best in care to our residents.

  • In this job, everyday you will...

    1. Maintain and support good working processes forcare staff ensuring continuation of services to residents.

    2. Supervise non-professional staff in the dailydelivery of resident care, scheduling job assignments and develops nursing unitpriorities and assists in identifying substitutes for staff absences.

    3. Prepares new admissions, transfers, anddischarges, providing direct resident care as determined by resident condition.

    4. Complete treatments and procedures, as orderedby the resident's care plan, and within scope of practice and related trainingwhile observing resident condition and reporting changes to physician andResident Care Manager and/or Director of Nursing.

    5. Evaluate and record residents needs andresponses to medications and administers medications as ordered by thephysician and directs medication aides accordingly.

    6. Monitors resident skin condition and reportschanges or new problems to physician and Resident Care Manager and monitorsresidents on alert status.

    7. Completes incident forms, transcribes andcarries out physician orders and notifies family and physician as directed.

    8. Documents all pertinent information oninterdisciplinary notes and 24-Hour D.N.S. report form, and documentsmedications, treatments and procedures performed on appropriate records.

    Education & Experienceyou need to qualify:

  • Must have a current, unencumbered RN license inthe state or the ability to obtain one.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor ofScience in Nursing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication andmotivational skills are essential to success.
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve in bothresident care and employee management situations.
  • Must be able to perform the essential job dutieswith or without reasonable accommodations.
  • 1 year working in geriatric nursing, includingexperience with medication administration, delivery systems and pharmacies ispreferred but not required.
