At HSC, you belong to a team that is transforming our world.SummaryThe Chemical Manufacturing Engineer supports Production and is responsible for optimizing process performance and product quality through defect elimination.
The Manufacturing Engineer receives both technical and point of work mentoring, coaching, and oversight from the Manufacturing Technical Leader for their respective technology area to monitor process capability and efficiency.
Essential FunctionsMonitors, reports, and responds to defined process KPIs for the processes within assigned area of responsibility to ensure their operation within the predefined parametersResponds to upsets and out-of-control situations to ensure recovery back to normal operating stateEnsures appropriate tools and procedures (SOPs, SWIs) are in place to operate the processesDefines and implements projects to incrementally improve the process within defined workflowsLeads Level 0 and 1 root cause investigationsParticipates in project and Management of Change manufacturing reviews.
Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.Required Work Experience3 years of Manufacturing engineering experience required; 5 years preferred.
