Job Overview

We are currently hiring full and part-time hostesses to join our team at Reids Fine Foods.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they approach the host/hostess stand, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for all diners.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking with ease and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Collaborate effectively with bussers, cooks, and other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Set up and maintain the cleanliness of the host/hostess stand, adhering to high standards of presentation.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, following established checklists for the department.
Promptly report any equipment or product issues to the Executive Chef, General Manager, or Manager on duty.
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping floors and cleaning glass doors and windows.
Familiarize yourself with party details and seat guests accordingly, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
Provide highchairs and booster seats upon request and ensure servers are seated fairly throughout the shift.
Effectively manage wait times and maintain an accurate wait list, keeping guests informed of their wait status.
Update the iPad with table availability as tables are cleaned and clear, ensuring efficient use of space.
Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and take orders in a timely and courteous manner.
Thank guests for choosing Reids Fine Foods and encourage them to return, fostering a loyal customer base.
